Tyrone started repairing saxophones in 2004 at the Nazareth Music Center in Nazareth, PA. His saxophone repair and service shop is presently based in the Philadelphia area. Over the years, he has repaired hundreds of saxophones, ranging from student model Selmer Bundy IIs to the most delicate Super Balanced Action Tenors. Being a professional musician himself, he understands the importance of practical work, a fair price and quick turnaround time. Believing that no two saxophones are the same, and no two saxophonists prefer the same type of setup, Tyrone strives to work personally with each player to ensure his/her desired setup and thus guarantees his work.
Prices are determined by how long the repair will take at a $40 per half hour flat rate. A repair estimate can be given after a free evaluation of your horn.
